“Ain’t nothin’ like a hometown girl”
Lindley. Lindley grew up in Southlake and is attached to her friends and her faith and her church where she works at the coffee bar. She’s a wonderful person, compassionate and loving and cares about people and does whatever she can to be helpful in this world. She’s a beautiful soul and we are better for having gotten to know her more. The first location for Lindley’s Senior Session is her church at White’s Chapel. We walked all around the grounds and inside as well. She was right at home there, obviously having had spent so many hours there, a home away from home for her.
We then went out to take some shots at the Southlake Town Square . When a location for senior pictures is as familiar as Town Square, sometimes it can be challenging for a photographer to be creative and make sure to see the streets from fresh eyes so that each senior’s pictures will be unique to them and we don’t repeat shots from senior to senior over the years. By following the light as it changes throughout the year, we’re certain to be able to create different compositions as well as to insert your personality and style into the backgrounds. This will always determine the individuality of your pictures.
Lindley wanted a splash of nature in her pictures so we planned on going to Lake Grapevine, but I had this vision of some field shots with her. The blue of her sweater was calling me to stop at this beautiful field of wheat on the way to get a few shots on the way to the lake.
We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to take you Senior Pictures, Lindley. We’re excited to see you pursue your goals. Good luck and God bless!
