The House Party: Better with Friends
In our experience, a lot of people look for Senior Pictures near to them. They want them close to home in familiar locations. Convenience aside, the main reason is that they like the comfort of being in places they know and love. They like their photos to be a slice of their lives. Tessa took it one step further when she added a magic ingredient: 2 of her very best friends from band. And it was a powerful sprinkle of delight that impacted the entire vibe of the session. The girls met at Tessa’s home for the first part of her session. We took some photos of Tessa alone, but we quickly brought in the girls, Christina and Jessica and it didn’t take long for it to turn into an exciting party filled with giggles and fun playful poses! Lots of energy and passion filled the air!
The Grapevine Botanical Gardens & Main Street, Grapevine
When it was time to go we packed up and the whole gang, parents, friends and the Burks headed to the 2nd part of her session, the Grapevine Botanical Gardens to take some dressed up beautiful photos of Tessa and the girls were her attendants. They were attentive to her every need and carried her shoes and outfits and went in to help her change and encouraged her the whole time! We ended her session all decked out on Main Street for her 3rd location and her outfits were absolutely perfect every last one of them!
The Senior Experience Backstory
We first sat down with Tessa as we do all of our seniors and asked her how she wanted to be photographed and what was most important to her to have in her pictures. No doubt: It was her friends. She wanted her cherished and treasured friends in the photos and to share her senior experience with her. And it truly made the day for Tessa. As a quiet person who is also very humble, Tessa really came alive with the love and support of her friends. Her natural smiles and genuine emotion were enhanced by their presence. It was a pleasure to have them with us and we’re glad to be able to accommodate our clients’ needs and wishes in their sessions.
Throughout Tessa’s Senior Portrait Experience we were able to get to know her more and more. It was our honor to work with this intelligent and kind young woman. Tessa will be attending Sam Houston State in the Fall and studying Criminal Justice. Congratulations, Tessa!
